Whilst it may be a relatively complex product for TEDSgroup to administer, for employers and employees, it is very easy to understand.

Does every nursery or childcare provider use TEDS Premier?
TEDS Premier is only available for registered private day nurseries in the UK. If a parent choses a nursery that is not a member of the TEDS Premier network, we will request registration. Some nurseries and nursery groups are excluded from TEDS Premier.

How do I see individual TEDS Premier savings for each employee?
Each employee will receive a personalised savings calculation showing their individual savings.

Do I have to choose between TEDS eVouchers or TEDS Premier?
As an employer you can choose to use both TEDS Childcare Vouchers and TEDS Premier.

Depending on each employees individual needs, they may benefit from using one or both benefits, should their individual situation mean that they can access both TEDS Childcare Vouchers and TEDS Premier.

Is TEDS Premier or TEDS Childcare Vouchers better?
Once TEDSgroup has received your Parent Questionnaire, the employee’s individual needs can be assessed so that you they can enjoy the benefits of the best scheme that you are subscribed to with TEDSgroup.

Which product provides the most savings on Childcare?
TEDS Premier is the product which gives employees the highest level of benefits, however Employers need to be registered with TEDS Premier to access these additional benefits.

What’s the best way of informing employees about TEDSgroup products?
TEDSgroup will help you by giving you everything you need to communicate with your new and existing employees, ensuring they concentrate on work whilst TEDSgroup automatically administer TEDS eVouchers and TEDS Premier.

How easy is it to administer TEDS Premier?
Once set up. TEDS Premier is fully automated for your existing employees on the scheme.

Is TEDS Premier HMRC approved?
There is no formal approval procedure¬† for workplace for HMRC to approve childcare benefits, however TEDSgroup has operated since 1996 and is a member of HMRC’s Childcare Forum.

What do employees have to do to use TEDS Premier?
Your employees don’t have to do anything once enrolled on the TEDS Premier scheme as it is fully automated

How are funds transferred by the employer?
Employers pay the childcare fees directly to the employee’s chosen nursery. TEDSgroup is registered under the Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme and employers have chosen to use this facility.

What can TEDS Childcare Vouchers be used for?
TEDS Childcare vouchers can be used for many different Ofsted registered childcare activities, in addition to nurseries, such as childminders, nannies, au pairs, pre/after school, holiday schemes, non-educational childcare, horse riding, dance schools etc.

Can TEDS Premier integrate with our Corporate and Social Responsibility programme?

Unlike many of our competitors, there are no expiry dates on TEDS Childcare Vouchers, so as long as voucher schemes exist TEDS Childcare Vouchers are valid.
